Because I'm Lame! Lame! LAME! LAME!!!!!

Greetings, Dear and Faithful Readers!

This week, on December 21, 2011, I was honored to be a guest blogger on Renee Shuls-Jacobson's "Lessons from Teachers and Twits" blog.

I agreed to this months ago, and despite Renee's kindly email reminders, my moment in the spotlight slipped my mind (as so many things do, these days).

This makes me a bona fide TWIT.

I thank all of you who visited me at Renee's site , and also for visiting me here, at Mom Crusades.

This year has been a blessing, for sure.

Not only have kind people like Renee not forgotten me, despite my sorry inattention, but life has been good.

My son is doing well as a fourth grader this year, keeping up with his class, and maintaining the grades that keep him on the honor roll.  He's also kept that sense of humor and sensitivity to others that make him the best Fuzzy ever.

My daughter is blossoming as an up and coming drama queen (big grin) as she auditions for school productions of "The Phantom of the Opera," participating in the chorus and in making costumes.  She's also keeping herself on the honor roll - a feat I was unable to maintain since about third grade.

Despite many job cuts where my husband is employed, he's still employed. That's a blessing.  I'm still employed.  My family is still together, and they're still healthy.  Many people have prayed for and supported us in many ways, and I am so grateful for them.

May this new year bring you blessings and happiness.
